  • Release of Operation Lifesaver, Inc.’s new video public service announcement (VPSA) on level crossing safety, part of the national “See Tracks? Think Train!” safety campaign at www.seetracksthinktrain.org; TV and radio interviews with media outlets mainly in the Top 15 states for crossing and trespass incidents. The media tour will feature Joyce Rose, Dr. Lanny Wilson (rail safety activist from Illinois and father of teen killed in a crossing incident), FRA Acting Administrator Sarah Feinberg, FTA Acting Administrator Therese McMillan, and FHWA Acting Administrator Greg Nadeau. The topic will be the VPSA launch as part of our “See Tracks? Think Train!” campaign, and the OL/DOT partnership to reduce crossing incidents across the country. In addition, Operation Lifesaver programs will hold events in at least 20 states across the U.S. including Alabama, Arkansas. California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
